The Watauga Company, incorporated in 1987, is a general contracting firm based in Titusville, Fl. It is a woman owned and family operated business. The company specializes in new construction and renovations of government, private, retail, educational, recreational and medical facilities.
The current President and Chief Financial Advisor of The Watauga Company is Elizabeth A. Snodgrass. Mrs. Snodgrass was a founding member of the Board of directors and was appointed President in 1991. She obtained a bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee.
The Vice President and Manager of Construction is Jason L. Snodgrass. Mr. Snodgrass is a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1518889). He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Erskine College. He has over 20 years of field supervisory and management experience in construction, having managed all company projects since the company’s beginning. He has administered contracts for the company with numerous federal, state, county, and city agencies, hospitals, schools, and public housing authorities.
Lynn A. Snodgrass is the current Secretary and Treasurer of the company. He holds degrees in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and Building Construction from the University of Florida. Mr. Snodgrass has over 40 years of high level management experience in the construction industry.
Mr. David Phelps is the current field superintendent with over 20 years of supervisory experience on construction projects. He has preformed duties on multiple projects as a working foreman and project superintendent. Mr. Phelps is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Mr. John Vogelbacher is the current construction cost estimator and has 16 years experience in this area. He received a Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida.
